About Co-ord Sets

A co-ord set is a matching kurti and lower, made to be worn together. Ours are summer sets in breathable cotton with Kashmiri aari embroidery, made in Kashmir and sent from Srinagar. Wear one to work, to lunch or on a trip: the set does the styling for you.

What is in a set. A kurti and matching pants; a few sets come with a shalwar instead.

Fabric. Cotton, light and breathable.

Embroidery. Aari, a looped chain stitch worked in floral lines. It is hand-assisted manual work; it is not handmade.

Size. Sets are sized by bust, from 40 to 46 inches (Small, Medium and Large on some). The kurti is 40 to 44 inches long and the lower 38 to 40 inches. Every product page gives its own measurements.

Care. Dry clean only.

What is a co-ord set?

A matching top and bottom made to be worn together. Ours pair a cotton kurti with pants, or with a shalwar on a few sets.

Is the embroidery handmade?

No. It is hand-assisted manual work, made in Kashmir. Small differences in thread colour from one set to the next are normal.

What size should I buy?

Sets are sized by bust, from 40 to 46 inches; some are Small, Medium and Large. The kurti is 40 to 44 inches long and the pants 38 to 40 inches. Check the measurements on each product page: returns are only for damaged, defective or wrong items.

Can I wear the two pieces separately?

Yes. The kurti goes with jeans or plain trousers, and the pants with a plain top.

Are these good for summer?

Yes. They are cotton, which breathes, and that is why we call them our summer sets.

How do I wash it?

Dry clean only. Do not machine wash or wring the embroidery.

Do you deliver across India, and can I pay on delivery?

Yes. Delivery is free across India. Cash on delivery is available for most pincodes: enter yours on any product page to check. Prepaid orders usually arrive in 3 to 5 days and cash on delivery orders in 8 to 15.
